We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer who will develop and implement applied AI solutions to automate the company’s internal processes. The main goal of this role is to identify routine, time-consuming, or poorly scalable processes across different teams and turn them into reliable AI tools and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI tools for automating code review and analyzing code changes.
- Build systems for automatically analyzing product and technical metrics, logs, and events, including anomaly detection.
- Integrate Slack, task trackers, knowledge bases, and the company’s internal services.
- Develop AI agents, for example, for creating tasks from Slack threads, searching for similar bugs, and preparing concise summaries.
- Automate incident analysis, identify possible root causes of failures, and prepare draft post-mortems.
- Create tools for automated checks of websites, domains, and SEO metrics.
- Design and develop custom MCP servers, RAG systems, and pipelines for working with corporate data.
- Evaluate the quality of AI solutions, reduce error rates, and control the cost and speed of their operation.
- Work with both cloud-based models and local LLMs.
Requirements
- Practical experience in developing solutions using AI/ML.
- Experience working with APIs of cloud AI platforms, such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Experience launching, additional training, and fine-tuning local models.
- Good understanding of how LLMs, Transformer models, embeddings, and vector search work.
- Experience developing custom solutions based on MCP and RAG.
- Experience integrating AI services with external APIs, databases, and corporate systems.
- Strong development skills in Python, TypeScript, Go, or other backend or systems programming languages will be an advantage.
- Understanding of different neural network architectures, including Transformers, NLP models, RNNs, and others.
- Experience with Docker, Linux, Git, and basic CI/CD processes.
- Ability to turn an informal business need into a working technical prototype and then into a stable production service.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, PEFT, LoRA, or QLoRA.
- Experience with local inference using vLLM, Ollama, llama.cpp, TGI, or similar solutions.
- Experience with vector databases and search systems: PostgreSQL/pgvector, Qdrant, Milvus, Weaviate, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
- Skills in building LLM quality evaluation systems: evaluation datasets, automated tests, human feedback, hallucination monitoring, and regression testing.
- Understanding of information security, access control, and confidential data protection when working with AI.
- Experience processing logs, metrics, and time series data, as well as detecting anomalies.
- Experience developing AI agents and systems using tool calling.
- Understanding of observability.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- We are not looking for an academic researcher, but rather a strong hands-on engineer who can quickly understand new AI technologies, build prototypes, validate their value, and bring successful solutions to production.
What we offer
- Work on an ML product with millions of users and real-life metrics.
- A compact team where every engineer can influence the product and develop expertise across several areas.
- Experienced colleagues to discuss ideas with, think together, and launch new projects and features.
- A simple structure with minimal bureaucracy and maximum responsibility.
- Annual salary review and bonuses.
- Benefits: medical insurance, tax compensation, learning opportunities, equipment, and language courses.
- Relocation to Cyprus: visa support, relocation coverage, flight tickets, and the first month of accommodation.
- Flexible schedule, a comfortable atmosphere, and team support.
