Who we're looking for: We are looking for a Real-time Video Streaming Engineer to help us gradually migrate from AWS IVS to a self-hosted LiveKit solution and further develop our real-time streaming infrastructure.
What you'll be working on:
- Gradually migrating from AWS IVS to self-hosted LiveKit.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining a self-hosted LiveKit cluster, including SFU nodes, TURN/STUN, and egress services.
- Designing and supporting infrastructure for 1:1 and 1-to-many streams.
- Integrating LiveKit client-side and server-side SDKs, with future plans to work with native iOS/Android SDKs.
- Monitoring technical and product streaming quality metrics, investigating user issues, and resolving problematic cases.
What we expect from you:
- Experience with self-hosted LiveKit or a similar streaming engine.
- Understanding of WebRTC principles and other streaming protocols, such as HLS, LL-HLS, etc.
- Knowledge of Go and experience working with MongoDB.
- Basic experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and command-line tools such as sh, bash, zsh, etc.
Will be as plus:
- Experience with cloud streaming services, such as AWS or Cloudflare.
- Knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript.

Salary: from €5,000 net per month. The final compensation level may be higher and depends on relevant experience, skills, and overall match with the role requirements.
