Senior IT Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Advice on and handling of legal proceedings arising from the operation of the IT Company (GDPR, compliance issues, lawsuits, KYC, due diligence);
• Coordinating and controlling the Company’s compliance with legal requirements;
• Researching, anticipating and protecting the company against legal risks;
• Guide managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations;
• Structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents;
• Active interaction with external partners and external law firms: negotiation, preparation of related documents;
• Handling with different types of agreements arising from the operation of the IT Company;
• Ability to understand the Company’s business needs and ability to find a legal solution to meet them;
• Ability to negotiate with internal IT company departments to obtain information needed to complete the current task.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience in corporate and international law in the IT sector;
• Specific knowledge and experience in IT and data protection (EU & US);
• Experience in IT-related agreements, licenses;
• Management of clients and projects; strong client-relationships skills;
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail;
• Excellent working knowledge of the Russian and English languages;
• BSc in International Law.

Desirable:

• In-house experience;
• Knowledge and experience in IP sector.
